Samir is a British national and joined Al Tamimi & Company in February 2003. He currently heads up the firm’s employment practice as well as the corporate advisory practice. His work includes advising multinational, local companies and organisations’, including well known household names, other law firms and government held entities on all their day to day employment requirements as well as litigious employment issues. He is also involved in a wide variety of projects where employment issues are to be taken into consideration, such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and public listings.

His work also includes joint ventures and venture capital investments; corporate structuring advice in light of local regulatory requirements advising in respect of general local law provisions (including in respect of corporate and commercial); franchising, agency, distribution and supply arrangements; and drafting, reviewing and advising on other commercial agreements and documentation.
