



James MacCallum is a British national. His principal areas of practice are corporate and commercial law. On qualifying as a solicitor, James spent seven years in law firms in the City of London advising a wide variety of clients on a broad range of issues, in particular, from a corporate and commercial law perspective. James joined Al Tamimi & Company in 2003, since then he has worked on a variety of matters for governmental and private sector concerns (both local and international), in particular, relating to share and business acquisitions and disposals, corporate structuring and licensing, joint ventures, private equity, employment as well as general corporate, commercial and regulatory matters. He is based in Al Tamimi & Company’s Abu Dhabi office, where he heads the Corporate Commercial practice. James has written numerous articles for publication on legal issues in the UAE.
