Ahmad is a Jordanian national and has joined Al Tamimi & Company as the Head of the Qatar office.
Ahmad has extensive and comprehensive experience from working in private practice, government and in-house counsel roles. Ahmad has experience advising on a wide range of corporate (business sale & acquisition, IPO’s, joint ventures property and labour law), financial, policy and litigation matters.
Whilst in private practice, Ahmad acted for major international banks, telecom operators, property developers and governments.
Since joining Al Tamimi & Company in 2002, Ahmad has been appointed in-house Legal Counsel for the Dubai Development and Investment Authority, and more recently the Vice President and Legal Counsel for Future Pipe Group. His exposure to regional and international legal issues in these organisations has made Ahmad proficient and adept at handling matters of significant size and complexity.
Ahmad was Vice-President of the Harvard Islamic Law Forum. He is currently a member and Director of the Harvard Arab Alumni Association.
